Sorry, I guess I take gang awareness for granted because it is such a way of life out here. XIV = 14 = 14th letter of alphabet = n = norte = norteno gang. Clever, isn't it?

This is one of the two major Mexican gangs on the west coast whose tats have been known to spark a brouhaha or two.
