25 years of marriage, 4 living kids, 6 dead kids, 1 grandkid, two parents, three siblings, two step-parents, two parents-in-law, 8 other in-laws living, 25 step-relatives, 1 church elders committee, 1 part time job administrating a non-profit, 4-6 basketball games a week, 7 chronic illnesses to manage (my own plus others'), two cars, a house, a mortgage, college and private school bills, one snake, one dog, one cat, and a very strange next-door neighbor.

You got a snake? WOW! What kind? Male or female? What's his/her name? Do you take it for a walk?

I kept some snakes for pets when I was a kid. Seriously. Just garter snakes, little copperbellies, like that. Useta catch them ourselves- easy to do in the spring. Took a couple to school with me once inside my shirt- around the 2nd grade. Teacher saw them and ran out of the room screaming. That would be a "him" type of teacher too.
