I will not remove the link. I started this thread so that we can have a civilized discussion about the incident and how it is viewed by others who are not in our profession. John Harris's email address is at the bottom of his column. If you feel strongly that you want him to know your oppinion, then email him.

Jerry Blum, the NBA guys are on the same page, all of them. Our game, on the high school and college levels, is almost regionalzed as far as officiating goes. I know this first hand. That is a philosophy of consistency across the board. If there is a question it is worked out and every one knows how things are supposed to go. They also have a philosophy of looking where there partners are not. I don't mean adopt their rules or anything like that.
