A1 dribbles, then stops, pivots on on one foot, now fumbles...recovers own fumble after going 6 feet to retrieve the ball. So far all legal...
Can A1 now pivot?

Lightbulb Of course they can.

Yes.

There is nothing against the rule that do not allow a player to gain possession of the ball or establish a pivot foot after gaining possession. You just cannot dribble after a fumble. Now understand a fumble means the ball handler lost possession of the ball on their own. Not just the ball being knocked away from you.

Peace
