Do you indicate a 3 point shot in transition in the lead if you have the match up and or are near the shot and have a look? Kind of a help deal for your Ps?

Yes. I just do not signal the basket when it goes in.

Peace

I would not signal I would stop the clock and say it was a 3 on an obvious play. But we went over that debate as to how and when.

Peace

Yes, but -- with very rare exceptions -- I only do this in transition. I almost never signal the 3 from the Lead in a settled situation.

And if I indicate the attempt, I always give the touchdown signal if it goes.

I signal in very rare situations in transition. At the college level that is what we do. I usually do not see that taught that much at the high school level.

This is what I do.

This is transition only. If I am the new lead and there is a 3 point attempt, if I do not see either other official with a signal, I raise the 3 point attempt signal and look for someone else to pick it up. If they do, and mirror the attempt signal, I pull my hand down. It is just helping out on the attempt.
