I see reference to insurance in many topics. I am in my second year with NFHS for a few sports and see the insurance information in the booklets. I have not read them in great detail, maybe I should! I have health insurance with my daytime job.

So if I get injured, who pays first?
If I need liability coverage, I am covered?
Can someone state examples of when the NFHS insurance (Bolinger right?) kicked in?

Rick,

I think you need to read the nfhs.org website about the insurance. I think it may vary a little depending on how much your state puts into the insurance. You also can get insurance if you are a NASO member or even a member of this website (on the paid site). I have looked over the insurance but could not tell you many of the details because I have never had to file a claim myself. I do know people that have over the years, but the insurance has changed since those people filed a claim.

Peace
