In one game, I solved the problem by telling the girl that her verbal counting was confusing me and to be fair I would have to start my count over and over to get it right. She got the message and stopped counting out loud.

One time I had a GJV game where I called a 5 sec. violation on the white team on two successive OOB plays. From then on each time they had an OOB play one of the white players on the floor counted off the 5 sec. in sync with my arm counts.
