You're blaming this on your wife/girlfriend?

Patent leather

You realize of course that when you are refing those summer league games wearing short pants your patent leather shoes will be reflecting your fruit of the looms.

Sorry, but I don't like the looks of the patent leather shoes. I feel that they make you stand out too much; I am told that is the reason why we are going to the grey shirts. If your partner doesn't wear them they will stand out even more. You will not look like a team out there. I may buy a pair just to avoid an uncomfortable situation if I have a partner who insists on wearing them.
So the guys that can shine their shoes or have their shoes shined by leather luster, do they stand out? If I am standing out because my shoes are suppose to be shined and they do, that is a good thing from my standpoint. I would much rather stand out for my shoes being shinny, than not shinning them properly at all like most I see do.

Let me ask you this: Would you wear patent leather shoes in your daily life?

When I start wearing black polyester pants with no cuffs at the bottom, I will start worrying about what type of shoes I wear off the court. ;)

Peace

Rut, just curious, what shoe do you wear?

I wear regular black leather runners when i do summer league stuff.

They look awkward without long pants, in my opinion.

We all know the well dressed man never wears BLACK polyester with no cuffs.

Any man with any fashion sense and a shred of self respect owns at least one pair of pants similar to this fine garment:

Those are kinda nasty, ... but put 'em with white loafer style shoes and a nice white belt, ...maybe a flowered shirt, black nylon socks and Florida is yours! ...Don't forget the gold necklace.

I currently own two pair of the Converse All-Stars. One pair I have only worn for about 4 games. So I really do not need another pair of shoes for at least another year. But I like the new Reebok shoe that Honigs sells.

Peace
