Having attended my first D1 camp this past June, I can tell you that it's the "little things" that make the difference between those who get hired and those who don't. Everybody can call the obvious foul or travel. Lot's of guys look the part (6'4" and built like the Terminator). Many will have the "connections" or more experience than you. How do you seperate yourself from all of the others at the camp? The guys who do the "little things" all the time in each game that will distinguish themselves from the others.
Here are the little things that I'd focus on: hustle (no excuse for a lack of it), excellent mechanics (don't be lazy), stay in your primary, communicate (with your partners, players, and coaches), control the game (blow the whistle when needed and let the kids play when needed), etc.
Steve Welmer, D1 official who had 123 games last season said: "you get hired into D1 because of your presence and the calls you don't make"..............

Finally, just relax! It's the same game you've worked hundreds of times before. Nothing more, nothing less. If you're ready, you'll get hired.
