Talking

Just wanted to pass along a success story.

Our season gets started later here, and just today we had our jamboree with all the particpating schools getting together. My partner and I officiated what came out to be almost 6 full games. ("Almost" because to get all the teams to play one another we couldn't do complete games.)

Anyway, several weeks ago we had a discussion on this board about shin splints, which I suffered from (for the first time)last year. However, I got some good advice from some of you about changing shoes (New Balance) which I did, and even getting support socks. Well, after the fairly rigorous work out at the Jamboree today I'm happy to report that my legs feel good!! I'm pretty happy with this 43 year old body!

Thank you all for the good advice!!
