SHOW BASKETBALL REFEREE / ASSISTANT TOUR COORDINATOR


HARLEM AMBASSADORS Touring Professional Show Basketball team has seasonal opportunities (August 2004 to May 2005) for referees with each of our two touring units.

Must have experience officiating basketball. Must be outgoing and enjoy being demonstrative. Referee protects professional players from potential injury situations. Referee participates in show aspects of performance.

This job also involves coordinating tour details including contacting Game Organizers in advance of game events. Also includes handling lodging, restaurant, and game venue details. This role may also include coordinating media interviews and personal appearances by team.

This position requires extensive travel including tours of 2 or 3 months in length. Candidates with minimal family obligations preferred.

A position with the Harlem Ambassadors can also involve international travel. Selected candidate should have valid U.S. passport or a commitment to apply for passport. Organization is drug-free and all performers are required to submit to random drug testing.
