A1 is fouled in the act of shooting by B1 and the try is missed. The foul is also ruled to be intentional does A1 shoot 4 shots or 2 with a throw-in?

Two shots with the lanes empty + the ball at the nearest sideline to the point of the foul.

Same answer had the try been successful -- two throws plus the ball out of bounds at the spot nearest the foul.
