Question

In the past few days I have received no e-mail notifications of responses.
Although it affects my mailbox in a good way, I miss out on some interesting Referage.
Anyone else out there not being notified?

I turned off the notification thingy a long time ago. I just check the board whenever I have the inclination. SO no, I"m not being notified, but I'm not missing much.

hit and miss...

I'm being notified but not all the time. Which in some discussions which go off on some weird tangent, that's a good thing!

I turned it off the first week or two that I was on here. I, like Juulie, check it the posts on this board as I feel like it.

(Edited to prevent Mark's mind from getting to saturated with gutter material....oh, too late ).

I know what Juulie checks. To what are you referring?

BTW - I heard you met the immortal Dave. What was your impression?

Well, actually, I figured out who he was. I first met "Dave" several years ago but the name "Dave" by it self is not too particularly unique. Never put the two together since I've never witnessed him committing one of his acts of humor.

I think it's at least possible that "Davism" is kinda like "Kleenex" -- used to be a brand name, but now just generic. I suspect that at least a few of the later "Davism"s were, well, yea, facial tissues, but not necessarily "Kleenex Brand". If you get my drift.
