Question

I'm just watching the final game, and i'm trying to figure out which 3-point line their using, does anyone know whether its the FIBA line, or the NCAA line??
Also, can the officials use video replay as the NCAA officials can???

I know that the CIS plays with varied NCAA rules, i'm just not sure how varied they are.

NC2A line - didn't watch the final, NC2A was on.

Bad scheduling.

That's wierd, because they waved off a 3 where the shooter had his foot on the FIBA line, but it was behind the NCAA line.

Maybe I'm wrong, but CIS Men's play modified NC2A rules. Of course, basketball rules in Canada are all messed up, so why shouldn't they butcher that as well.

That is so true.

CIS Men use NCAA Men's rules with a few modifications.
1. A 30 second shot clock.
2. FIBA 3pt line.
There are a couple more that I can't remember right now.

Just out of curiosity, what was your opinion of the double dribble that cancelled the tieing basket.

Personally I didn't think he had control of the ball on the first "dribble".

I didn't think he had control either, even before seeing it on the instant replay. At best, a call you probably could pass on. It happened six feet in front of the guy, too. Too bad. Kind of reminiscent of the big foul call at the buzzer a few years back. Oh well, what can you do. We've all been there in one form or another.
