3-3 art. 6
A player who is bleeding, has an open wound, has excessive amount of blood on uniform, or has blood on person, shall be directed to leave the game, unless a time-out is requsted by, and granted to his team and the situation can be corrected by the end if the time out. So they have to leave the game. But a time out and a quick bandaid can keep them in the game. -Rick
