My pet peeve for this year: The phantom save:


The ball has crossed the endline and a player comes to save it. He jumps and clearly reaches the ball and throws it back in before he comes down. The only problem: His foot was on the line when he took off and egven may have been completely across the line when he took off. I've seen this call missed several times this year, even at the D-II level. Don't forget to watch the feet!
