I a private school varsity double header last night. One of the guys had his shorts on backward. Other than my partner and I laughing about it through most of the halftime, should we have addressed it? There was a logo and a team logo that should have been on his right leg in the front.

A player wearing his/her shorts backwards is not our problem as officials. Do not mention it and let it go. MTD, Sr.

I'm pretty sure she wasn't in the locker room since there isn't one at the sight. Players change at home or in the public restroom. Officials get a classroom. Not the best site, but the sportsmanship of the players is great.
We didn't address the shorts at all. I didn't see any reason to waste game time on this issue. I just posted because I thought it was pretty funny. |
