A Pennsylvania Coach Fri Feb 20, 2004 01:58pm

A player from my team, a junior and my best player, underwent emergency brain surgery Monday morning. They've determined that it was an burst blood vessel, and they've got no reason to believe it was anything but random. At this time, she's out of the woods as far as survival goes, but there are still some long-term concerns about speech, vision, and motor skills. All signs are good, but more prayer would be appreciated for all involved.

Hi coach

I'll pray. I know how it is too loose a great player. Not long ago Stevnsgdade(Denmark) lost talented Ken Drayton in an age of 19 'cause of a heartattack.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

Best wishes

Coach,

You can add me to the list of those praying as I had to attend a funeral this morning for a friend of mine that suffered a brain anurysum(sp?) about 2 weeks ago. She was 38 and leaves 3 children.

It is good to hear that your palyer is out of the woods as I now know first hand how dangerous and devestating something like this can be.

Please keep us informed as to the progress and if there is anything we can do like contributions to a fund etc...

Me too. Let us know how she is doing.
