Correctable error

Situation: A1 shoots basket from about 5 feet. While shot is in the air, A2 who is on opposite side of basket is pushed in back by B1. Lead calls foul, ball goes in the basket, which is counted. A is in the bonus shooting one and one. B coach wants to discuss what was called and why one and one is being shot. After discussion with coach, Lead becomes new trail for free throws. Shooter makes both shots. B inbounds ball and after several changes of possession (no dead balls or made baskets), A3 is fouled by B2. At this point B coach questions if the correct A player shot free throws previously. R checks with scorer and finds that A1 shot the previous free throws instead of A2. Correctable error or not.

Yes the error is correctable because it was recognized during the first dead ball. Wipe the unmerited FT's made and have A2 shoot theirs. Return to the point of interruption and continue.
