Interesting situation happened to me this weekend at the Redmen tournament. With 5 minutes left in the game, the table crew notifies us that one of the players for team A is not on the roster. The assistant coach handed in a roster and crossed off two players and whe the official scorer asked if they were playing he said they were not. The player in question had played the entire game and somehow the table had failed to notice she wasn't on the sheet.

Nothing personal, but what is so interesting about that? If the kid is on the floor when you notice it, add her to the book and charge the team with a T. Play on.

While my name is Dave, I somehow I don't think I'm the Dave you give up 7, count 'em 7, worshipping smileys to. Which begs the question, who really is THE Dave?

See my post in the following thread for a fairly detailed explanation.

The ironic part is that they are both David H. Smith, and both in the PBOA. Both are great to work with, and have a wicked sense of humor. There are two noticeable differences, Smitty is average height, with lots of dark hair, and he only moved to the Portland area in the past year. THE DAVE is quite tall and quite bald, and has lived here for ever. But if they ever have a game together, I hope they'll let us know. It would be a blast to watch.

I did work my first scrimmage game this season with the other DHS. It was quite uneventful, I'm sorry to say. Does he post in this forum?

Got part of your answer from rainmaker. Mark Padgett has made the other Dave famous (Infamous?) on this and another forum for his sayings.
