In a boys varsity game on tuesday night, there was a scrammble for the ball on a Team A interrupted dribble in Team A's front court. The ball goes off of a Team B players foot deep into Team A's backcourt. A Team B player dives for the ball and gains possession on the floor. Like an idiot, I call back court. I immediately realized what I had done, waived off the call and awarded the ball to Team B OOB. Other than "PAY ATTENTION" which I heard plenty, and loudly from the Team A coach when I went over and apologized, what are your thoughts on handling this issue, after the mistake.
