Do any of your associations have a procedure for dealing with complaints (from schools/coaches) that you get about your officials?

We are dealing with some now and would like to have a formal procedure set up to respond to the complainant and to work with our officials.

In my rec league, the coaches (over 100 teams) all know that any complaints about officials go directly to me.

Maybe that's why we never have any complaints. ;)

I am not totally sure about the exact procedure. But I have belonged to a chapter that had a grevence committee that heard any complaints. Then they would make a recommendation that the Executive Board had to rule on after that. Not sure how all that was done exactly, but that is what I know.

In my association, coaches/AD calls our scholastic commissioner (actually the assignor) to register complaints and comments. Don't think anyone has ever called to offer kudos.
