Hey, how come the thread "Is it September already?" is closed? The Clemens signing was certainly worthy of keeping that thread alive. I know I have no life, but it would've been fun to keep it going till Opening Day '04

That was a fun thread. Alas, we hardly knew ye.

The moderators seem to be deleting and closing a lot of threads, I'm not sure what's up with that.

I didn't have anything to do with it, and as far as you Red Sox fans, this Browns (Modell's trade of Warfield to the Dolphins for the draft rights to Mike Phipps; and the releasing of Bernie Kosar) and Indians (the curse of Rocky Colavito) fan has only this bit of words of wisdom: WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!

is it appropriate for us Bronco fans (considering the recent announcement of the hall of fame finalists for football) to point out that the Browns also need to include John Elway in their list of "curses"??

Me either!

Besides, nothing but football in my mind until the Eagles are done. Hopefully, two weeks from Sunday.

Well, I do have 2 boys varsity games on Saturday and I need to dust off my 3-man

Ah yes: "The Drive!" as it is known to Browns fans. I have mixed feelings about the Broncos. Randy Gradishar is a 1970 graduated of Warren (Ohio) Champion H.S. I graduated from Liberty H.S. in 1969 and Champion H.S. was our main rival for the Trumbull Co. "AA" League basketball championship when I played for Liberty. He was a three year starter for Champion but we won the league championhip all three years including winning 4 out of 6 games against him.

Mark,
Believe me us Bronco fans refer to it as "The Drive" also LOL and "The Fumble" both great times in Bronco history, only to be followed a couple weeks after each one, but some of the worst days in Bronco history LOL

Here's a shocking thought...

Maybe it was closed because it had absolutely nothing to do with basketball.

Well, one can wish...

I'm sure that's the reason.

Well, obviously. But if you're going to let it stay open for 8 months. . .

It could've been moved to the General Forum.

And, by the way, I made the original post in the thread and I did not delete it.

Camron, I understand that one might doubt Chuck's mental abilities (he IS a Red Sox fan, afterall) but I suspect even HE might remember deleting the original thread.

Notice I said might.

I had no idea who started it. I didn't bother to look.

But as you said...might.
