Unhappy

My partner was at his daughter's varsity game last week. Here is the play and the new rule that resulted: A1 dribbling in front court. B1 knocks the ball away from A1. A1 chases ball toward backcourt and allows ball to cross division line before gaining possession.

Referee calls backcourt violation. Reason: A1 could have played the ball before it crossed division line!!!!!!

You wonder how these guys keep getting games?

Don't think we will see this as a POE next season!!!!

Scary. Somebody once said (was it here?) there are three words that do not appear in your rule book: coulda, woulda, shoulda.

That is the key element right there. If many areas are like the one I live, they will give anyone these games. You do not have to be in shape, you do not have to be talented, you do not even have to be respected. But they will give anyone with a pulse a girl's varsity game.

Peace

Really? Sign me up. I'd kill for a varsity game, girls or boys
