This part of the story has actually had me wondering. Haven't gotten this year's NCAA book yet, but I thought that a decision had to be made before going to the monitor - that way, if there's no conclusive evidence either way, you stick with the original call (similar to the NFL replay system).

Have the guidelines changed to allow the officials to just go straight to the monitor?
