The team properly submitted their roster and designated the five starters before the 10 minute mark. When we go to the bench before the player introductions etc. the scorer tells me the coach changed the starting lineup. A6 is now going to start instead of A1. There was no illness or injury to justify this change.

The question is, is it a technical if the coach reverts back to the way he originally wanted? (A1 starting as submitted and A6 not)

By rule, when he instructs the scorer to change the book and it's changed, a T is assessed. If he then changes back, there is no penalty.

If you do anything different, that's on you.

If the coach had the scorer change an official starter in the scorebook, after the 10 minute time limit and after the he had designated his starters, you don't have a choice. Team technical charged.
