BTW-after hearing all about sportsmanship, had my players at end of game shake hands with other team THEN to thank the officials for their work. Team looked at me kinda funny at first but during postgame understood why when talked about 3 teams working to do their best.

Wouldn't do this except in rec league, I call with these folks, and want to focus on the sportsmanship aspect with 14-15 yrs olds who can tend to focus more on gasoline and girls than selflessness.

Off my soapbox (oh yeah, won in OT-must have been superior athletic ability-certainly wasn't the coaching!
