I signaled this call in this situation once.(at least)
This was back in the days when I was a free agent local jr.
high ref and nothing more and often I used no signal at all.
But, the pc signal was the first (proper?) foul signal that I adopted. In this case it was one of those where the hand went behind the head as if by its own accord. I quickly realized my mistake and thought nobody would notice the signal. As I reported the foul the coach was complaining bitterly about the call. I looked at him and shrugged. (I used to do that a lot)Then when he saw us lining up to shoot 1&1 he got loud and sarcastic. "Oh, now they're going to shoot on the player control." I felt obliged to explain that the foul occurred after the pass. "But you signaled....." he put his hand behind his head. This explanation was too easy,"Yeah, I made a mistake." He gave up and sat down.

LOL, I never thought I'd see Linus quoted here! Although, you realize he was quoting somebody a little older?

I don't think that would be a tough sell for me. (In fact have done that very thing without nary a word from either coach.)

So, if it gives you a warm, fuzzy, you call it?
