just a simple illegal substitution, two games in a row with a "T". I was also under the understanding that this sort of "T" was a POI tech. My partner told me that all techs are at mid court in HS, he has been doing this a while so I took his word for it. Is he correct and if so what rules are POI and if he sin't correct what sort of techs are POI.

All technical fouls are division line throw ins.
Flagerant and Intentional Fouls are throw ins at the point of the foul.

Are you sure "Flagerant fouls" are oob nearest spot of foul?

POI is not correct. The correct procedure is oob at spot nearest foul. POI is in College. We stop the game, do the FT's and go back to POI.

And thank you for asking, My daughter is Ref. YMCA. She loves it. I had to buy her a strip shirt "that fits" (not one of my hand me downs. And I had to buy her a real FOX, not a Mini Fox that I gave her, and I had to buy her a nice spandex under shirt, not one of my old shirts. She can wear shorts but she is putting pressure on me to buy her real officials pants. WOW what fun!!!!!!!!!

Everybody is making this too hard. For games played under NFHS rules, just remember:

If the foul is a personal foul the throw-in is at the boundary line nearest the spot of the foul, and

If the foul is a technical foul, the throw-in is at the division line opposite the Scorer's Table.

Whether the foul is an intentional foul or a flagrant foul is of no consequence.

Bart, my post was strictly for NFHS rules because the original post was for a H.S. game. The NCAA Men's/Women's have different criteria that NFHS.
