Is Bill Crosby Bing Crosby's illegitimate son?? Just curious

I agree on two things:

1. Learn to talk with the wistle in your mouth, I move mine to the side of my mouth.

2. Say what you have to say before you hand he or she the ball, put the wistle in your mouth and go for it.

Learn to talk with your whistle in your mouth

Seriously!
I tried it last night. It came out, "WHAaaaa." Not sure how helpful it was.

Hold the whistle near your mouth with the hand opposite the thrower and the ball in the other, say your phrase of choice, ("Ball", "Here we go"....etc), Hand ball to thrower while placing whistle in your mouth, raise hand closest to thrower, begin count with other hand.
Tried this last night, too. I didn't fully master it, but I can see it's worth working on. Also, I've got to learn it for both left- and right- handed hand-offs.

Andy --

I'd suggest raising the hand away from the thrower and counting with the hand closer to the thrower.

Juulie --

There's a picture of this technique in RefMag this month. Practice in front of the mirror until you look like the woman in the picture.

I dont understand why everyone is still handing the ball instead of bounce passing the ball which allows you a better wider angle at play!

Maybe they're on the endline in the frontcourt. . .

Not in the frontcourt on the end line.

Is there a specific reason for this? I was thinking it was optional?

I always bounce the ball to the thowerer. I take a good 2 maybe 3 big stepbs back say HERE WE GO! and bounce it to them. I do all 2-man games and Like to achieve the best angle I can the second play resumes.

Bob -- I've been told at camp and in evaluations to count away from the thrower. I'll look for the picture you suggest.
