Oh and as far as the shirts my son just bought mesh and he is going to exchange it for poly as he felt it looked dingy or dirty and was not pleased with the color but thought it felt great.

Smitty,

Great response, we can't go another day talking about belts or not belts.

But, I think some let the cat out of the bag.

My last micromesh went 3 seasons before the wrinkles stopped washing out and what not. I'm hoping the Cliff Keen will go longer. At our next meeting I will probably pick up a polyester AND polycotton. Which do you guys prefer? To me they look sharper. I have two micromeshes that I rotate now. It'd be nice to not have to wash shirts everynight though. the varsity crew that had the floor after us last night had all poly/cottons or all poly and to me it looked sharper. Im just debating betweein polycotton or 100 Poly. Which do you guys prefer?

I have a couple of Cliff Keen poly/cottons and a Cliff Keen poly. I think the poly looks just a little whiter, but I much prefer the feel of the poly/cotton.

Ace, I prefer the feel of the micro-mesh. To me, the mesh is 1000 times better than the poly. But if you like the look of the poly better, then I would recommend that you look into InteraWear. I bought my Intera shirt through Honig's. It was about the same price as a poly shirt (a couple dollars more expensive, maybe), looks just like poly, but releases the moisture SOOOOO much quicker than the poly.

If you like the poly look that much, then my advice would be to go with the Intera shirt. Just my two cents.

This is not true for the whole state. I am in northern VA and we have officials that wear both. No specific ruling regarding slacks -- I only wear the pleated/beltless type. IMHO, they look better.
