Captains Meetings all seem to be locally different – even as I travel my metro area.

What do YOU cover with the captains?

I usual cover any special rules or exeception paticular to the gym ie three feet on out of bounds--I expect good sportsmanship from all players --introduce both refs--Have fun and play hard-

Since the captains aren't listening anyway, I always say:
"No hand-checking. Stay off the shooters. Keep your shirts tucked in and your shorts above the waist." Short, sweet, and to the point.

Captains don't listen, and definitely do not report to their fellow players what was said at the captains meeting. Just tell them to put the ball in the hole. They want to get back to what they were doing, warming up.

Players, call your own fouls tonight. That usually gets their attention.
In Florida we have been given a card to read at the coaches and captains meeting. I don't know anyone that actually reads the card, but I cover the POE, which is asking the coaches if players are properly equiped and adressing the players about sportsmanship.
