Cool

I having a small brain fart. I will be doing a girls game tonight. I know there is no 10 second count in the backcourt. But once the ball is in the front court and goes backcourt is there backcourt violation in girls basketball?

Unless you are doing a rec league with it's own set of rules girls rules are no different than boys. You still have 10 to get the ball to the front court and the backcourt violation is then in effect.

Or are playing by NCAA rules.

Yes, there is a backcourt violation rule in NCAA W rules.

Your state may have a modification to NFHS rules that deletes the 10 second backcourt requirement from girls
games. Massachusetts does this (although I don't see the logic).

I don't know of any state that would remove the backcourt violation from HS girls games, but I suppose it is possible.
