Okay, nine01c, you've got my curiosity up. I don't have a rule book with me, and I assume your nickname is based on that rule. What rule is it? Thanks,
Adam

I'm just guessing it's rule 9.01c

(Official Baseball Rule 9.01c -- Each umpire has authority to rule on any point not specifically covered in these rules.)

Bob, of course you are right. I am a baseball umpire, and can have only one user name for this forum. So sorry, Adam, I couldn't call myself a basketball rule for this board. I hardly ever invoke rule 9.01c, but I just like knowing it's there. What does Snaqwells mean? Isn't that something my kid puts in his lunch bag?

Talking Scorer's Instructions say player cannot re-enter Andy, AMEN!

If you just add a "3" at the end, you could be a not-for-profit corporation. Just think of the possibilities!

Butch -- Whoa!! That's FIVE01(c)3. You gotta be really careful about giving tax advice...

Also, could you lose the "Andy" line? I'm finding it quite distracting.

That's how it's pronounced. My last name is Wells, and the guys in a group I sang with in college nicknamed me snackwells. Spelling it with a Q makes for a unique nickname on the web.

Mea Culpa - If you think my tax advice is good, you should try my legal and medical offerings!

Also, I'm sorry about the Andy line. My too-smart browser seemed to want to repeat the last thing I had typed into the subject line, even though it wasn't showing it to me before I hit "submit". I hope its gone now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hey, if you can use Mea Culpa more or less correctly, you can't be all bad!!

Although, I'm not sure we ever got an explanation for the "Andy" line, did we?

And I'm still waiting for my season to start. Just a handful of hours now.
