Verticality!

The coaches just love this one. What are your thoughts on verticality. Years and years of hearing "over the back!!" leads all of the fans to think that they know all the rules and should not change. Example:Shot goes up and comes off the rim. Closest rebounder to the basket , A1, is 5'10". Rebounder behind, B1, is 6'4" and when rebounding they both jump and make slight "body" contact (inadvertant). B1 reaches over the head of A1 and grabs the basketball and does not touch A1 when they both touch back down. What would be your ruling?

Exactly the same situation I had last nite. I had a no whistle TWICE, no advantage, no displacement. Thanks for clearing it all up and validating my no-calls!
