Tailoring belt

Been using a spikey tailor belt for 15 years. I saw someone using a velcro black belt without spikes. Anyone have a brand they like for basketball please?

Velcro belts

I also began using that type of belt, and they just didn't last very long. I switched to Velcro belt with great results.

Here's a link from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=velcro+be...ps-ranker_2_11.

They carry all kinds.

I use the Ultimate Belt. It is a black Velcro belt available from Purchase Officials and a few other retailers. It helps me keep my 32" waist basketball pants up. When I use the 31" pants, I don't need an internal belt.

I also wear Neat Tucks for both basketball and football. They keep my shirt tucked into my pants without any issues.

Say It Ain't So ...

What?

Basketball officials still wear belts?

I thought that I was the only one left who still wore a belt.

The official IAABO International uniform policy stated "beltless pants", for many years, but changed the policy to "beltless pants recommended" in 2020-21.

Here in my little corner of Connecticut we're a bunch of rebels and carved out an exception in our local constitution to allow "beltless pants" before the change 2020-21.

I'm definitely gonna need my belt this coming season as I recently lost twenty-five pounds.
