I kind of already knew this, but just for everybody else's information, regarding thread-starter posts (and only thread starter posts), said poster can no longer go back and make any change in the title of a new thread (that shows up on the Basketball Forum home page), nor can said poster go back and delete the entire thread-starter post. Said poster only can go back and make changes in the "body" of the thread-starter post.

So when starting a thread, be careful before one clicks on "Submit New Thread".

Similar problem for any form of electronic communication (email, text, Twitter, etc.).

In ancient times we had to address an envelope, find a stamp, and get to a mailbox, plenty of time to reconsider and change our mind about something.

It's way too easy to simply click.
