We were realized our CE while we were in the dressing room. When we came out we explained the situation to both HCs and had A1 attempt the 3rd FT at Team A's 1st Half Basket.

If any free throws are successful (maybe unsuccessful free throws are also recorded), they will be scored in the second period in the scorebook.

While some of this is academic and fun to discuss, in states that have period limits for players who participate at different levels (freshman, junior varsity, varsity), where officials normally recluse themselves from any jurisdiction, this may be the one time where officials get involved with the discussion and have some impact.
