That’s a little more info than you provided the first time. And you don’t need to invent some esoteric synonym for “man-up.” We’re not impressed. Just say what you’re doing: correcting an officiating error when it is recognized before the throw-in ends.

Thanks. That';s not how I read your first post. Since you didn't quote anything, I assumed you were responding to the OP -- when the throw-in had (long) ended. IN that case, "ref-up" has two extra letters at the beginning.
