Interesting video question

I found a YouTube video of sports videos today while goofing off. The last video, after several Shaq and Chocolate Thunder backboard breaking dunk videos is a high school girls game which has a malfunction of its own.

Shooter shoots a free throw and as the ball hits the front of the rim, the entire rim drops to the floor, becoming detached from the backboard.

What is the proper ruling on this? I would have to say it would be a replacement free throw upon the rim being properly and safely fixed. If it can't be fixed then state association rules regarding postponements and cancellations would apply correct?
