I expect the following 12 in the Elite 8...

Doug Sirmons, Roger Ayers, John Gaffney, John Higgins, Terry Wymer, Ted Valentine, Michael Greenstein, Brian Dorsey, Keith Kimble, Lee Cassell, Tony Chiazza, Ron Groover

You're probably gonna have to add Tony Padilla to your list and subtract Lee Cassell; he was the alternate on Thursday in Louisville.

Are the alternates for these rounds all guys that aren’t getting a floor assignment?

And I missed one for sure. Earl Walton in Anaheim with Ayers and Higgins.

Unexpected. Earl's a good dude.

Unless you know something I don’t I would subtract Chiazza.

I've seen a lot of talk on a local college sports message board that tonight was John Higgins' last game as a college official. Anybody have any real insight on this or is this just some rumor from people that think they are in the know?

I know Jamie Luckie is calling it quits.

My predictions for tomorrow:

(2) Michigan State vs. (1) Duke -- Mike Roberts, Terry Wymer, Joe Lindsay

(5) Auburn vs. (2) Kentucky -- Doug Sirmons, Keith Kimble, John Gaffney

Lindsay’s already worked a Sweet 16 game.

Dammit you’re right. I originally had Terry Oglesby in there until his phantom three-point foul, but who knows maybe he will work anyway.

Could you please share what local message boards are saying that Higgins worked his last college game last night please. Also, is there any link reflecting where Jamie Luckie is calling it quits.

Thnx

Can you list what conferences the Elite 8 officials work for? Or how you can find it?

All of them work multiple conferences. They have a primary conference, typically, but all work in more than one....sometimes a handful.

Sweet 16 and Elite 8 officials are all eligible to be chosen for the Final 4.
