I'll be downloading this game on Synergy. I don't know how to clip, so you'll have to wait on Jeff for that.

good work

I watched the game live and thought the crew did a decent job. The illegal screens you noted I'm guessing are the ones against OSU (Wesson?) and I thought they were 50/50.

McCaffery is a hot head. He is an embarrassment to the University of Iowa and has about one extremely embarrassing incident each year. These videos are the tip of the ice burg and I could link at least 10 more. Not linked: 2006 (then head coach at Siena) gets tossed at Northern Iowa, then his wife gets tossed. They are about as classless as they come.

Guess he lost his primary income when Ringling Bros. shut down.

When Fran is gone, I'll start watching my Hawkeyes again.

ESPN reporting that the Iowa coach received a 2-game suspension.

Somewhere I saw a comment where Fran said he “didn’t intend for the interaction to be seen,” so he waited until they were all in the hallway.

Yes, because chasing the crew off the court has always been the appropriate thing to do when you want to give an official a piece of your mind.

I don't know how to clip.

#1. Was not an illegal screen, it was a ward off in the post.

#3. The center official should not have had a whistle on this play. He cannot see the status of the ball. The Lead had a whistle and was the right official to judge the play, but the Center took the call. The Center official had made the two calls against Ohio State's big man in plays 1 and 2... Not saying the first two calls were wrong. I don't think the coach gets upset about this call if it comes from the Lead. He already had a ****-on for the Center official.

#4. You wave off an official, you're taking your chances. Two of my six technicals this year were for wave offs. As for the foul, McCaffery led with his head and created the contact.

A whole lot of nonsense considering the crew got EVERY ONE of those calls correct.

Pretty much. And in a couple of cases very easy calls and the coaches were acting like fools.

Peace

Exactly. The officiating was so bad that it affected 20 points. Gimme a break.
