NCAA 3 point line

It's about time, I've always thought that the three point line was too close in college ball. Any decent shooter should be able to hit a 20' jump shot. I like the change!

If I'm not mistaken, the new distance is the same as the international (FIBA) distance.

That's correct...the original proposal was to change NCAA to the International (FIBA) 3 pt. line and trapezoidal key...the trapezoid business was scrapped, but the three point line will be instituted next season...
