Yes on both.

1. Ball caught with left foot on the floor. He hopped from that foot then landed on the left then stepped to the right. Travel.
2. Defender ran into the side of the shooter and clipped his foot before the shooter landed. Protect the shooter....foul.

The first one, to answer the question in the OP, was a "technical travel," but not a reality one, especially not at this level.

I believe the NCAA has said they want those called.

Play 1: Not the type of travel NCAA-M wants

Play 2: Not a foul. Fadeaways are bad shots, we shouldn't bail out bad shots

1. Travel. Jumped off of one foot and didn't land simultaneously on two.
2. I don't see a foul, but the contact may have occurred on the right side of the shooter. That is tough to see from the camera angle.
