Grayson Allen

It sure looks like Grayson Allen intentionally pushed down an FSU assistant coach on the sideline (Video) – The Herd Now

Can anyone tell me why this kid is even allowed to play this sport?

(Yes, I know the answer. 4 letters, rhymes with juke).

Kid needs mental health treatment not basketball right now. Looks to have a classic compulsive disorder.

I saw this live and didn't think much of it. Even watching it in slow-mo on this replay, I still don't think much of it. Yes, Grayson is on a watchlist right now. But I don't think there was much to this play. Move along.

Given his history, I think it merits a closer look IMO. It appears he's just not getting it.

I know the history. And I can't stand Duke. But there just wasn't much to this in my opinion.

He has screwed up in the past, the recent past. One game probably wasn't enough for a suspension and it def should have been handled by the conference or NCAA but to say this particular play was dirty is just a witch hunt and bullshit. Period. Plays like that happen all the time in basketball. Just stop it. Hate Duke all you want but be realistic.

He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt, really, but I agree. If he's that out of control, it will manifest in far more obvious displays.

Not something I would address or maybe even seen as an official. But I think it's more than nothing.

The FSU asst is taking the high road, which is good. But he clearly reaches out and extends his arms in a push that is unneccesary and not something consistent with dozens of plays of kids running into the bench or first row.

This kid seems to have some issues that on a personal level I hope are sooner and better addressed by his school or league if they continue to manifest themselves like this. t The play the other day against BC was done intentionally IMO as well.

Maybe this is how Coach K ended up with a back injury.

I see players absorb this contact not push off on when flying into the bench. This doesnt make much sense.

That made me laugh. Maybe he only got one game suspension because Coach K afraid of him...

On a serious note, I like Coach K, I've read the kids story about growing up etc. Good Story. I think he needs help.
