Video Request (This is the thread) - December 21, 2016

If you have a video request, please make that request here. I will try to get up all the request tonight.

If the play is unusual or even a block-charge situation I will try to get them up.

All games I am monitoring are on the ESPN Networks and even a couple of CBS Sports games.

Peace

The Allen (Duke) technical foul. The clip is on ESPN right now, but an extended clip to show the post-T outburst would be entertaining.

It's bordering on a disorder at this point. Kid has issues.

Good call...and I haven't even seen the play yet. ;)

I have the time as 4:15 in the first half. I did record that game.

Oh wow. This kid is going to have a hard time living an adult life if he doesn't learn how to deal with things better.

1. INC...should have been a travel
2. CC...charge...defender had both feet down, in the path and facing and stopped moving forward just before contact
3. CC...charge...dribbler leaned into the defender to knock him out of the way
4. CC...block....defender had a foot over the arc when he got position.
5. CC...block...defender never really got into the path and was in the arc anyway.
6. INC...should have been block for jumping towards the shooter.
7. CC....early in the rebounding action, he pushed #3 deeper by a couple of feet. The later action was insignificant.
8. CC...one hand shove put him off balance and at risk of a turnover.
9. CNC...screener had position in plenty of time and didn't chuck the guard. The guard didn't see it in time to stop and didn't run trough it.

Play 5 is a block, but RA does not apply as this was the primary Defender.

Play 7 I have nothing, I don't think Jamie had the best angle to call that play.

I caught the tail end of it, but can you please post the play at 6:44 of the 1st half in the Duke-Elon game? I believe it was a play involving the new rule regarding elbows/defense in offensive player's space/whatever we're calling it. Thank you!

Well here is the play.

Looks like a good call and the offensive player had their arms at a 90 degree angle to make a normal basketball move.

There's just something about Grayson Allen that indicates he's not right in the head. He's a tremendous basketball player, but this is the third time in less than a year that he's pulled this kind of crap. And then the meltdown on the bench? Really? He knew he screwed up. He needs a shrink.

I'm glad to see Coach K had suspended him indefinitely. He deserves nothing less. It will be interesting to see how long the suspension lasts. Any guesses?

He is like a lot of kids in this generation. He has likely been coddled by adults his whole life and the fact he is a good athlete, that to me probably had made it worse. It is not like the decision was made without video. He has to know that. And his coach should have known that as well. I just think we give these kids so many passes most of their life, we are surprised when a 21 year old acts like he is 10.

Peace
