Officials Association Website
Anyone have a website they are really proud of for their association?
Anyone have a mobile app (native app) they are using for their association? Finally, on your association website, do you have a section (please send examples) that outlines what a brand new official needs to do to get started? i.e. registrations, equipment, appearance policies, clinics, youth officiating, etc. Our association does not do a very good job of listing out the steps and it causes newer officials frustration. I'm finding the generation getting into officiating nowadays, needs a lot more hand holding to get started. Maybe it just seemed easier when I started, but the last 3 guys who contacted me to get into our association got about 1/2 through doing what they needed to do, and said, "I feel there are too many things to do to get started and I don't know what those things are."
