I got a hack on the ref...like all players, he thought he went straight up, but as we can see from replay, he followed thru on the down swat.

Shouldn't it be a technical foul for goaltending a FT (touching the ball during a FT before it hit the rim)?

Still to this day, I have no idea why he did this in the first place. Would it of had some implications if he took the free throw?

Exactly...couldn't a few quick blasts on the whistle accomplished the same thing without looking so goofy?
