Both are blocks. The 2nd one is an obvious foul on the defense beginning with the hand check.

On 2nd play, I don't think the official called a block, but a handcheck...looks like (on my small screen) he gives a very fast handcheck signal before pointing at the spot where the handcheck happened. Anyone with better resolution able to confirm that?

Yes. He called a hand check on the second one. On the first I have PC. There may have been some contact prior from white but i don't have a foul until the push off. had black kept his arm down and just continued into/over white I can see block.
