Video Request: Iowa/Indiana block/charge plays
22.5 seconds remaining & 8.0 seconds left.
I strongly believe that the first one was a clear PC. The second one also seemed to be a PC to me, but wasn't as blatant. |
Iowa-Indiana video request--block in last 30 seconds
Can't remember the exact time but the Iowa guy drove the lane and extended his arm to push off the Indiana defender. Block was called by the lead.
|
Seemed like the defense didn't beat him to the spot, but there also was a push off.

viewed on the little screen, I have block on both.
The push in the first was a reaction to the illegal contact by white and happened "after" the foul. |
I have PC and block.

I know better than to disagree with Bob. Can you explain why you feel the first is a block? |

On the first one, I have a PC foul. The push off is rather clear in the replay. Might not have been as clear on the live angle the Lead had, but I think that is pretty obvious to me.

But on the first one its a rather obvious, with the benefit of replay, PC. The ball handler initiates the contact by extending his forearm and displacing the defender. |
